Nestled in the vibrant heart of Staten Island at 4553 Arthur Kill Rd, Flores Brunch is a must-visit destination for anyone craving a standout brunch experience. This restaurant beautifully marries classic American breakfast staples with inventive twists, serving up a menu that delights both the eyes and the palate.
The culinary offerings at Flores Brunch boast a rich variety of options, but what truly captivates are the specialty items that keep locals and visitors coming back for more. Take their Eggstrodinary Omelets, for instance—each a symphony of fresh, thoughtfully sourced ingredients like broccoli, spinach, mushrooms, and mozzarella in the Garden Omelette, or the bold, sharp flavors of the Western Omelette’s ham, onions, peppers, and cheddar cheese. At $17, these omelets are generous both in size and flavor, perfectly balancing indulgence and freshness.
But the true stars here are the pancakes and the famous hot chocolates that have earned a near-cult following. The cinnamon bun pancakes are a sensory experience: soft, fluffy stacks layered with swirls of cinnamon and draped in sweet glaze that collectors of comfort food will adore. More than one diner has raved about the pancake flight, featuring inventive varieties like “bacon me crazy” and “blueberry crumb”—each bite an exploration of texture and taste.
Flores Brunch also shines when it comes to drinks. Their lineup of famous hot and frozen hot chocolates is nothing short of decadent. The S’mores hot chocolate, for example, is a luscious, chocolatey indulgence crowned with torch-melted marshmallows, rich chocolate drizzle, and the nostalgic crunch of graham cracker crumble rim—served with freshly whipped cream that melts effortlessly on the tongue. For peanut butter fans, the peanut butter hot chocolate delivers a perfect dance between sweet and savory, accented with Reese’s crumble and a buttery drizzle.
Beyond the food, the atmosphere at Flores Brunch adds to the overall appeal. Reviewers have highlighted a welcoming, laid-back vibe that feels both lively and comfortable—no rush, just good food, great coffee, and friendly, attentive service. While parking can be a bit quirky due to its strip mall location, the warmth within the dining room more than compensates. Whether you’re stopping by for a cozy breakfast for two or a celebratory brunch with friends, the staff’s accommodating nature and the generous portion sizes help make every visit feel special.
Seasoned diners praise the avocado toast, Nutella waffles, and French toast for hitting the perfect balance of decadence and freshness, while dishes like the Brooklyn Benny with a mountain of prosciutto exhibit their flair for elevating brunch classics with bold flavor profiles.
In essence, Flores Brunch is a haven for brunch enthusiasts seeking inventive dishes, comforting classics, and unbeatable sweets in a casual, inviting setting. It’s easy to understand why patrons keep coming back, heralding it as Staten Island’s crown jewel for brunch and vowing to return time and again—even willing to travel miles for their signature pancakes and specialty coffee.
For those craving a sensory brunch adventure filled with sumptuous flavors and warm hospitality, Flores Brunch promises a truly memorable meal that awakens the senses and satisfies the soul.
Food was good. Eggs Benedict was good not great. The cinnamon bun pancakes were delicious as were the frozen hot chocolates. Parking is weird its a strip mall but you gotta park in certain spots for some reason so ended up parking in the street. Wait for big parties might take a while but my wife and I were able to find a table for 2 immediately on a Sunday.
Lured here from seeing their delicious loaded hot chocolates, we were surprised that they (despite being delicious) took 2nd place to their amazing pancakes! My wife STILL talks about them, too bad they are so far away from us! The pancake trio was greatly appreciated for someone who likes to try as many new things as possible. All were great but the cinnamon roll pancakes are truly spectacular.
Get the specials!!! Flores is soooo good! If you liked project brunch, you'll love Flores, I found the vibe to be a bit more chill and casual, which I prefer. Staff are friendly and attentive, a wonderful place to brunch. Food is INCREDIBLE and large portioned. Some of the best specialty coffees and pancakes in NYC; certainly the best of Staten Island!
Did not disappoint. If you loved this place before KEEP COMING!!! - new name, same chef. Brunch was delicious. Pancakes and french toast are yummy and eggs are cooked to perfection. Highly recommend the avocado toast and the Nutella waffles. And I can’t say enough about the coffee - Amazing! - even took a 2nd cup to go. The staff is friendly and accommodating. Looking forward to trying their dinner menu.
Excellent food, service, and atmosphere at Project Brunch! Famous hot chocolate and creme brûlée latte were utterly fantastic! Pancake flight is a great option; cinnamon bun, bacon me crazy, and blueberry crumb pancakes are all must-tries. Brooklyn Benny with a mountain of prosciutto was amazing as well! Some of the best brunch we've had anywhere!
Came here on a Saturday around noon for brunch and were seated immediately. Our waitress was attentive and sweet, adding to the cozy and inviting atmosphere. The interior has a cute, comfortable vibe that makes you feel right at home. We ordered the chicken nachos, eggs benedict, crème brûlée cappuccino, and s’mores hot chocolate. The food arrived quickly, which was much appreciated. Everything had a rustic, homemade touch and was absolutely delicious. The hot chocolate is a must-try! Portions were generous, leaving us with enough for leftovers. Would definitely return and highly recommend giving this place a try!
